Greetings!

An interesting question about thyroid problems:

I have been charting for five months and I have more than eight temperatures below 97.5 consistently during my cycles, but i am ovulating and I don"t think that I am particularly lethargic. I have been eating seaweed at least every other day, avoiding soy, I don"t take the pill, drinking nettle infusion, and taking Vitex to support progesterone. Should I be worried about a thyroid problem? If so, what can I do before I go for my annual in a few weeks.

----------

I think your should take a "quiz" to determine if you have symptoms of a thyroid problem besides low temperatures. If you have other symptoms, then bring your concerns to your doctor. You might find a quiz on Mary Shomon"s website. To your remedies, you might consider adding cod liver oil. Do the research and discuss it with your health care provider.

Best,

Katie Singer
